Dr Suman Chapagain is consultant urologist having interest in all urological diseases. His areas of specialization includes endourology, reconstructive surgery, uro oncology, female urology, pediatric urology and andrology with special interest in laparoscopic urology and Renal Transplant.

He did MCh in Urology from Institute of Medicine, TU in 2015. He was General Surgery Residency at B.P. Koirala Institute of Medical Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan and, completed MS in 2011. He then worked as Registrar in General Surgery at Civil Service hospital before joining MCh Urology at TUTH, IOM.

He also has experience of working in Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital (MPUH), Nadiad, India and Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India during his clinical postings in those hospitals at the time of his MCh Urology training.

He did his MBBS from College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, Kathmandu University, after obtaining scholarship from the Ministry of Education. He did House Job in General Surgery at Dhulikhel Hospital and also in Pediatric surgery at Kanti Children`s Hospital before joining MS residency program at BPKIHS.

He has presented and participated in several national and international conferences. He has conducted and been part of urological workshops and scientific programs. He has and been part of several publications in National and International Journals.

He is member of Society of Surgeons Nepal, Nepal Medical Association, Nepal Association of Urological Surgeons and Urological Association of Asia.

He currently holds position of Assistant Professor of Urology in Department of Urology and Kidney Transplant Surgery, TUTH, IOM.
